Top Five Teams Who Will Cut Down the Nets In April

For the past several NCAA Tournaments, either the number one seed or the number two seed has won March Madness. There is a reason why the top-tier teams get seeded that high every single season. The number one seed has won the last few NCAA Titles.

The March Madness Bracket will be revealed this Sunday, March 12th. Who are potentially the top five teams that are going to win it all that will either be a number one seed or a number two seed?

Gonzaga +450

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the favorites once again by Vegas to win it all this year. They are in line to be the number one overall seed for the second consecutive March. Gonzaga has to break through for a National Championship sooner rather than later. They lost to the Baylor Bears last year in the National Championship Game and it was their only loss of the season.

The Bulldogs have lost three times this year, but they still feel like the most dominant team in college basketball and the WCC is a better basketball conference than people have been giving it credit for this year.

Mark Few is a tremendous head coach. Chet Holmgren is going to be a problem for opponents come to the NCAA Tournament and Drew Timmie is a valuable veteran on this basketball team.

Arizona +650

The Arizona Wildcats have been the most dominant PAC-12 team throughout the regular season. Arizona is going to be one of the number one seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Their offensive efficiency is what is going to carry this basketball team deep into the dance.

Tommy Llyod is in his first season as the head coach of this basketball team and he has done a tremendous job with the program so far. Bennedicut Mathurin is one of the best scorers in the country and he is projected to be one of the top selections in the upcoming NBA Draft in 2022.

They are going to be very difficult to beat this year in the NCAA Tournament.

Baylor +1100

The Baylor Bears are in the driver’s seat to win the BIG12 Tournament and also another crack at another NCAA Title because they are most likely to land a number one seed when selection Sunday comes.

Baylor has had to deal with some injuries this season, but they appear to be getting healthy at the right time. Adam Flager is their best player and he has improved every step of the way for them this year. This team is also very fast and physical just like last year, but they are also much younger and will have some growing pains.

They have the talent to go back-to-back but bet at your own risk.

Auburn +1100

The Auburn Tigers are in line for a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. Even though they have flirted with many close games this season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them cut down the nets in April because they have won more of those close games than they have lost them.

They have two dynamic players that will go a long way for this basketball team in March and they are Jabari Smith (projected Top 5 pick in the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft ) and Walker Kessler. Those two might be enough for them to get over the top and potentially win a National Championship for Bruce Pearl’s squad.

The SEC had a very tough conference this year that had the Kentucky Wildcats in it.

Kansas +1400

The Kansas Jayhawks will probably be the best number two seed in the March Madness field this year. Kansas last appeared in the Final Four in 2018 but hasn’t won it all since 2008. Bill Self has had a lot of struggles in March Madness.

They have a very talented team. Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun is a very talented backcourt for this basketball team.

The Kansas Jayhawks have a great chance to win it all as long as they don’t stumble
